I find it interesting that Loren Brichter has a patent on this. Seems to be no evidence that Twitter holds this patent.

What I love about this is that he has this patent and we’ve seen no lawsuits. I don’t blame him for getting the patent, and it’s a credit to him that he’s not using it to get money out of people.

Twitter’s IPA is better than nothing. But it’s definitely not the solution to this mess.

These are my thoughts. IPA sounds like an improvement, but the fundamental problem is the vague concepts that are patentable.

Should have linked to Marco immediately. He dives into the language and makes IPA seem like much less of a breakthrough.
