I once had a company rescind an offer. I was in the middle of interviewing with another company and I wanted to finish that process. It didn’t take more than a week. But they said they didn’t think I was excited enough about them.

I ended up not getting an offer from the other company. But man I was sure thankful I didn’t end up working for the company that offered me. Frankly had a bad feeling about them. So maybe they picked up on that. 🤷‍♂️

I actually sort of loved this. No need to mix international geo politics into the movie. It’s not really relevant to the story. It occasionally makes for some oddly generic dialog. But it’s not distracting

I’m not sure if this is a Top Gun spoiler. But be warned I guess.

That scene with Val Kilmer was by far the most emotional and beautiful moment of a movie that was surprisingly full of them.

There’s nothing I find less interesting in tennis than complaints about grunting. It’s a sport. They’re competing.
