iPhone 12 Models Won’t Include Charger in Box, 20W Power Adapter Will Be Sold Separately
This will be a tough pill for folks to swallow. It looks like a grab for profit. Also I know I’m reaching but Apple is complaining about apps that “don’t do anything” when you open them and then selling a phone that can’t charge another device…. is not a great look.
All that said, I’m perfectly fine with this. I have too many of those damn bricks and there’s a real environmental argument. I doubt they’ll do it, but they ought to offer a deep discount on the brick or a Qi charger when you buy it with an iPhone
